Critics Choice Awards: sorpresa per la nominació d'"El juego del calamar" a millor sèrie

Sorpresa en les nominacions dels Critics Choice Awards, els premis de l'associació de crítics més destacada dels Estats Units. Aquest dilluns s'ha fet pública la llista de sèries nominades i, per primera vegada, una producció de parla no anglesa opta al premi de millor sèrie dramàtica: "El juego del calamar", la sèrie sud-coreana que s'ha convertit en el fenomen de l'any.

La sèrie, que aquest any ha estat la millor estrena de la història de Netflix, també ha aconseguit la nominació de Lee Jung-jae com a millor actor en una sèrie dramàtica. A més, "El juego del calamar" també opta al premi a millor sèrie de parla no anglesa, una categoria on també està nominada l'espanyola "La casa de papel".

La gran favorita als premis és "Succession", guanyadora del premi a millor sèrie en els Emmy de 2020, que ha rebut un total de vuit nominacions, entre les quals les de Brian Cox i Jeremy Strong, que s'enfrontaran pel guardó a millor actor en sèrie dramàtica. El repartiment de la sèrie creada per Jesse Armstrong també té tres nominacions a millor actor de repartiment, per a Nicholas Braun, Kieran Culkin i Matthew Macfadyen; i dues a millor actriu de repartiment, per a J. Smith-Cameron i Sarah Snook.

A "Succession" la segueixen, amb cinc nominacions, "Mare of Easttown" i "Evil". La sèrie de misteri protagonitzada per Kate Winslet està nominada a millor minisèrie, millor actriu en minisèrie per a Winslet, millor actor de repartiment en minisèrie (Evan Peters) i millor actriu de repartiment en minisèrie (Julianne Nicholson i Jean Smart). Pel que fa a "Evil", opta a millor sèrie dramàtica, millor actor (Mike Colter), millor actriu (Katja Herbers) i millor actriu de repartiment (Andrea Martin i Christine Lahti).

Altres sèries que tenen possibilitats de guanyar premis importants són "Ted Lasso", "Only murders in the building", "This is us", "WandaVision" i "The good fight", amb quatre nominacions cadascuna.

HBO s'imposa a Netflix

Pel que fa a les plataformes, HBO s'imposa clarament, amb 29 nominacions. La segueix Netflix, que opta a 18 premis; Hulu, amb 11 nominacions, i Apple TV i Paramount, amb 9 nominacions cada una.

Segons l'opinió dels experts, el criteri dels Critics Choice Awards s'acosta més al gust del públic.
