Manduka

Who says you shouldn't play with your food?

Manduka is a studio-recorded program designed to help children have fun while learning to cook.

Hosted by the young chef Paula Alós, winner of Masterchef Junior España 2017, this program is fresh and spontaneous. For 25 minutes, the audience discovers new recipes and simple tricks while learning about the celebrity guest. These famous visitors get a chance to try their hand at cooking—although some of them barely know enough to get by!.

All the while, the 3D-animated, wisecracking chef Cinto pipes in to add his dose of humour.

The Glance Report presented at Mipcom 2019 considers Manduka one of the best new European programs with child presenters (Paula Alós is 12) because of its excellent viewership ratings.

There's no doubt that Paula's casual, innocent air adds a lot to the program, but she's also surprisingly professional for her age. Not only does Alós guide and interview her guests, she even sings the show's theme song.

Paula's guests include influencers, YouTubers, musicians and actors, well-known stars that help to drive the fan phenomenon.
