As a man comes to ask for help, a jealous Gilby pretends he is smarter than Vic and decides to help. Worried about him, Vic insists to go with them. Gilby is not so sure of himself when he discovers that the lives of two people stuck in a wrecked boat are in danger, but he can't back down in front of Vic and can only make the situation worse. Vic has to save the day (and Gilby) by inventing a cable ferry to rescue the castaways.
