T2xC39 - La lluna dels udols

It is the night of the red moon and Akela has permitted the wolf cubs and the man-cub to come to the ceremony too. But Phaona lies to the kids saying that if the man-cub can't howl he can't attend the ceremony. Mowgli has to practice hard but his howls are just coming out as irritating screeches and they are disturbing Kaa's sleep too. Mowgli goes to Baloo for help but he doesn't succeed there either and now he decides to give up. He runs away into the jungle where he meets Phaona. Phaona tells him that if isn't able to howl properly he will be banished from the pack forever. He advices him to leave the jungle. As Mowgli does so, he meets Shere Kahn and they decide to play cat and mouse for one last time. Lali and Bala are out finding Mowgli after Baloo tells them that he isn't in the friendly area. When they hear Shere Kahn roar, they know for certain where he is. On meeting up with Mowgli, even Bala and Lali have to run from Shere Kahn. The chase stops at the Shiva temple where the trio hides in a small opening. But Shere Kahn is strong and he is able to knock down the walls and increase the opening to fit himself in. only Mowgli can climb up the wall and call for help. But he isn't too loud in howling and takes the help of a megaphone and calls for help. The wolves arrive just in time to save the cubs and Akela gives Mowgli his well-deserved place in the Howling.
