Mowgli and Baloo are waiting for Ponya but she doesn't turn up. Mowgli decides to go look for her and finds that the monkeys have interfered. Mowgli follows the lead to Cold Lair and finds out that Masha wants to build some structure out of bamboo and she has captured Ponya to cut the sticks. Mowgli tries to free her but he has to flee and think of another plan. He picks up a stone, distracts the monkeys and frees Ponya. But just as they are running away, one of the monkeys sounds an alarm and all of them chase after Mowgli and Ponya. Mowgli gets locked up and Ponya is back to cutting bamboos. Mowgli gets an idea as to how he can be free and take Ponya as well. He claims to Masha that he can make a better tower and once he makes it, he requires Ponya to check its safety. He sends Ponya launching first and then he launches himself down the tower. He grabs holds of Ponya in mid-air and then flees away from cold lair with the help of the vines. Though Masha orders other monkeys to catch Mowgli, they are too slow for him. Mowgli reaches friendly area and he along with Baloo and Ponya have some tasty honey for a feast.
