The Camino de Santiago route on horseback
On a bike, on foot, by car, in a hot-air balloon, or by whatever means imaginable, Marc de las Heras, an experienced traveler and adventurer, introduces viewers to parts of Catalonia unknown by many, in the company of the people who live there and share the natural beauty and richness of tradition of their surroundings.
The program comprises three itineraries : the Pyrenees, Southern Catalonia, and the Camino de Santiago route through Catalonia.
The first route, in the Pyrennees, starts in the most mountainous area of Catalonia, the roots of the first  inhabitants of this part of the world. The second route, Southern Catalonia, offers both coastline and mountains; the Els Ports limestone massif immortalized by Pablo Picasso; the colors of the Ebre Delta and over 150 kilometers of untamed beaches.
Over the course of 10 episodes on the Camino de Santiago route, Marc de les Heras covers 400 kilometers from Port de la Seva, on the northeast coast to Lleida-Alcarràs, in the western interior of Catalonia. This is a section of the Santiago route that is a true jewel in terms of its natural surroundings, villages, very own culture and cuisine and, especially, its people.

These routes offer a look at traditions, history, culture, folklore, local customs, traditional crafts and trades, adventure sports, unexpected spots and delicious cuisine. A way to not only see, but experience, Catalonia. Unique, powerful, and alive on the screen.

In his relaxed and friendly way, the program host leads us by the hand to witness things like weaving wool with natural materials, leading 4,000 sheep down the mountain at winter's end, or cooking a real free-range chicken. All in all, an adventure that opens doors to some of the most beautiful places on earth.
