The series steers a course between documentary and fiction and also has an experimental and artistic side. Each episode takes a different approach to its subject, covering the anthropological, cultural or psychological aspects of a given color. This can cover cinema, architecture, history, gastronomy or music.

Anything and everything might come up in connection with the color dealt with in a given episode. A blind person describes how he imagines a color; a color blind person talks about how he confuses red and green; a synesthic person explains how he hears colors. The refreshing free-form style of the series is as difficult to pin down as the notion of color itself. There are rules; no set structure. Each episode is a new, fascinating journey set out by the color itself.
