Friends and Rivals (cap.22)

Lara feels very put out when she has to give up her room and share with the baby whilst her Host Mum's nephew, Enrique, is visiting. However, all bad feelings disappear as soon as Lara sees Enrique step out of the taxi. she's smitten. Unfortunately for her, so are Monica and Akira! The following day at the skateboard park the three girls start competing against each other for Enrique's attention. Tony doesn't get it - what does that guy have that he doesn't? Tony decides to study the nephew and figure out how to be successful with girls. As the day progresses, the competition grows between the three girls, and when Lara and Monica realise that Enrique is interested in Akira rather than them, their friendship suffers. It all comes to a head at the cinema, where the girls cause so much fuss that Gabriel actually loses his temper. Seeing Gabriel get so upset shows them how much their rivalry is affecting their friendships. The girls make up and vow never to choose boys over each other. Laraeven helps Akira out by giving Enrique her email address so they can stay in touch.
