An evil computer software designer -- think Bill Gates, but not quite so evil, has developed a computer virus that turns anyone exposed to it into loyal, zombified followers (people are exposed through computers, palm pilots, cell phones, even the spies' own electronic gadgets). When the spies investigate, they realize that the designer plans to plug his followers into a giant had drive to infect the entire world and turn everyone into half-computer/half-human freaks. Can the spies defeat the designer before they and the rest of the world become infected? In a b-story, Alex has to get a job to pay the rent, but it turns out to be the job from hell.
