A saga of love and revenge
This saga of love and revenge begins in the 1930's, when the anarchist-leaning Romeu family set up a small publishing house on some worthless land they own in Barcelona's docklands. A Fascist son-in-law, Carles Revert, ends up ruining their dreams in his ruthless pursuit of his own ambitions.
Come the year 2000, the Revert family build swish offices on the seafront, right on the site once owned by the Romeus. Unbeknownst to the owners, one of their workers is the last living descendent of the Romeu family and is bent on revenge and putting past injustices to rights.
