The Actress of Garcia Lorca
1927. Spain is living under the Primo de Rivera dictatorship. Actress Margarita Xirgu and her theater company are set to perform "Maria Pineda," a play by the young poet and playwright Federico Garcia Lorca. The dictatorship will not tolerate that, but Xirgu, in the name of "freedom", doesn't intend to buckle under the pressure.
