Thus TV3alacarta has reached a number of models of TV sets connected to the Internet, as well as the new generation of intelligent phones, the iPad and the PS3 console.

are areas for participation within the 324
portals, where users can contribute their own news and content in varying formats. They are an example of what has been known as "citizen journalism".
The CCMA participates in the social networks seeing them as new ways of dissemination and interactivity: tens of TV3 and Catalunya Ràdio programmes already have groups and pages on Facebook, where new formats are experimented with in order to offer added value to the audience. Viewers can compare themselves with fictional characters through tests; declare themselves fans of the programmes; share videos and images; or comment the sports transmissions on the Internet in real time thanks to the integration with Facebook Connect. Twitter users can follow the latest news at twitters section on 324 and esport3.cat. Through YouTube, TV3 makes its videos available to a much wider audience, and thanks to Flickr, some programmes can offer extra visual material.
Widgets are also an essential part in this revolution of the online formats. Embeddables for blogs, home pages, and desktops show the latest news on the CCMA blogs, and allow you to listen to Catalunya Ràdio programmes or keep up with the recipes from the Club de Cuines (Cuisine Club) via Twitter.
